Before launch
Is Drive a backup service?
SOFBAC Drive is for everyday file access and synchronization. Automated backup of selected folders is a separate SOFBAC Folder product.
Can several people open one file?
Shared access is supported. Simultaneous edits across computers can cause sync conflicts; real-time document co-editing is planned as a later Office add-on.
Do I need to work in a browser?
No. The desktop client is intended to expose Drive files through your operating system’s file manager.
Where is the data hosted?
The service infrastructure uses Hetzner facilities within the EU. Applicable data processing and service terms are agreed before activation.
